To ensure all regulatory, legislative, contract and Stock/ National Express required compliance documentation is secured for all Driver and Monitor files in order to ensure only qualified drivers and monitors transport students and passengers.

Responsibilities

  • Liaisewith Trainers and Recruiters to ensure all required Driver Qualification,Training File and Medical File documentation is secured, complete, scannedinto Beacon and filed accordingly in a timely and accurate manner whenonboarding new drivers.

  • Proactivelyreview Beacon reports in order to manageupcoming expiry of qualifying, training, or medical documentsrequirements such as license renewal, School Bus Driver ImprovementCourse, First Aid, Medicals, Abstract, Annual BTW Evaluations etc. so thatno documentation is past due of requirement date.

  • Ensureongoing receipt of hard copy documents are uploaded to Beacon and thenfiled in a timely manner.

  • Ensureonly active driver files are kept on hand by reviewing employee statusmonthly.

  • Monitorand provide reports to the STS/STM on a weekly basis regarding driverswith 2 or more accidents in a 24 month period, accident/injury trends,

  • Assistin investigating driver behaviour issues/ complaints received by the CSC.

  • Ensureaccuracy of Safety Award recipient list and order and receive appropriateawards for the CSC.

  • Liaisewith payroll/ Operations regarding driver status issues such as leave ofabsence, termination, new driver, lost time injury etc.

  • Enteraccident and injury information into Sedgewick and other platforms in atimely manner as required.

  • Enteremployee performance and training data into Compass in a timely manner toensure integrity of information.

  • EnsureAccident and Injury Investigation Forms are filled out completely and anyrequired Post accident BTW evaluation or Accident Collision Review andFollow up documentation is complete and included in the accident/ injuryfile prior to filing.

  • Assistin planning and supporting monthly safety meetings, Start up, SBDICcourses, First Aid and other driver and monitor training and events asrequired.

  • Trackand enter non-GPS mileage for monthly KPI reporting.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.

  • Must complete state certification program or Stock'sTraining Academy for school bus driver instructor. Equivalent work experienceas a Trainer can be substituted as appropriate

  • No preventable accidents in the past 36 and acceptabledriving performance in the past 36 months is required

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Software (Word, Excel,Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and transportation related software

  • Strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and group presentation skills

  • Well-developed multi-tasking and time management skills

  • Ability to provide direction, coaching and mentoring toemployees while creating an environment that encourages and values input andfeedback

  • Ability to respond to unanticipated events to ensureexcellence in customer service

  • Ability to Investigate claims and incidents of questionableconduct, accidents etc.

  • Computer literacy skills in word processing and spreadsheets
