The District Health Department No. 4 is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team!

• Provide technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Support seamless day to day IT operation for the district.
• Respond to work orders submitted by staff in timely manner.
• Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
• Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
• Confer with staff and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
• Maintain records of all assignments, onboarding, and deactivating access timely as necessary.
• Support and maintain user information including rights, security, and system groups.
• Monitor computer system performance to ensure proper operation, ensuring compliance to all HIPAA, State, and Federal laws.
• Conduct end-user training and workforce development on utilization of technology to gain effective and efficient workforce.
• Assist in maintenance, setup, and coordinate operations of all agency cell phones and business phone system.
• Read technical manuals and/or attend conferences and seminars to maintain knowledge of hardware and software used by the Agency.
• Accept other duties as assigned by the IT Supervisor.

Wage:    $23.16 per hour, increasing to $24.08 after successful probationary period, in accordance with current Collective Bargaining Agreement, plus full benefit package.
