Job Title: Event Coordinator

Company: A Christian Healthcare Hospital

Location: Altamonte Springs, Florida

Onsite/Remote: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote)

Contract Length: ASAP through the end of August with possibility to extend

Hours: 40 hours per week

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at a Christian healthcare hospital in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing corporate events, with a focus on project management and logistics. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work closely with executives including the CEO, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events for the hospital, including but not limited to conferences, fundraisers, and community outreach programs.

• Develop event timelines, show flows, and event resumes to ensure smooth execution of all activities.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and requirements.

• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and budget management.

• Serve as a point of contact for vendors, sponsors, and attendees, providing excellent customer service and support.

• Maintain detailed records and documentation for each event, including budgets, contracts, and attendee lists.

• Assist with post-event evaluations and analysis to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future events.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event coordination, preferably in a corporate or healthcare setting.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

• Executive presence and the ability to work closely with senior leadership, including the CEO.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for events.

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Note: Candidates must be comfortable with some events (not all) being after hours, with one event in August requiring overnight availability.
