The role you’ll contribute:

The Resiliency & Supplier Diversity Manager is responsible for developing and managing the AdventHealth Supply Chain Resiliency and Supplier Diversity Program to sustain and enhance the success of AdventHealth Supply Chain strategy. The manager provides the overall direction, coordination, communication, and implementation of the program with oversight from Strategic Supply Chain leadership. Using current internal and external relationships, along with building and maintaining new relationships where needed, this position will provide desired results that drive strategic Supply Chain goals and support the mission of AdventHealth.

Resiliency: This position provides leadership and management to ensure results align with the necessary goal of protecting AdventHealth’s ability to source products and services during local, national, and global disruptions.

Supplier Diversity: Develop and lead strategies for recruiting, managing, and supporting diverse suppliers and driving exposure to all business lines and key stakeholders within the organization. The Manager will partner with the Supply Chain Environment, Sustainability, & Governance (ESG) team and the company’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) department by supporting the established and/or further deepening relationships with external non-profit partners & organizations. This individual is an integral member of the strategic supply chain team, supporting gathering data, performing analytics, negotiating contracts, developing materials, communicating with various key stakeholders and regional leaders to ensure that the goals and objectives are met.

  • Develop and manage marketing strategy, plan, and execution of the program with oversight from sourcing leadership.

  • Establish and maintain processes to predict, prevent, and recover from supply chain disruptions.

  • Understand social, political, environmental, economic, and military conflict dynamics on supply chain materials, resources, manufacturing, logistics and ultimate finished goods, to minimize impacts to AdventHealth clinicians and patients.

  • Develop and maintain an active role in local and national resiliency and supplier diversity programs and organizations.

  • Build effective working relationships with suppliers and customers, incorporate the appropriate feedback/perspectives to improve outcomes, resolve issues, and enhance processes.

  • Prepares supplier and market intelligence reports and plans that allow AdventHealth to establish primary, secondary, and tertiary options within its supply chain for key product and service categories to mitigate the impact of key products and services during crisis and/or supply disruptions.

  • Research and review best practices and benchmarking data to develop supplier diversity solutions and improve the overall program's effectiveness.

  • Serves as an active business partner alongside the Executive Director and the Vice President in the strategic development and vision of the resiliency and supplier diversity work across the organization.

  • Effectively develop and lead complex sourcing strategies, effectively manage suppliers and internal & external networks to deliver best in class performance for the relevant spend area.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university or college

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated working experience in Supply Chain, Diversity and Inclusion, environmental sustainability or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading projects in a collaborative team environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, multicultural studies, human resources, organizational development, communications or similar field.

  • Previous experience in healthcare of 5 years.

  • Understanding of project management principles and methodologies

  • Deep understanding of Supply Chain operations, practices and processes

  • Expert knowledge of diversity/inclusion/equity practices and concepts
