St. Mary's Healthcare Net Revenue, Lead Analyst in Amsterdam, New York

Shift: Days

Hours per week: 40 hrs week

Hiring Range: $28.19-$37.70

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare support and perform the calculations for valuation of the accounts receivable using RCA revenue analytics tool

  • Conduct analysis and report on net revenue for variances from budget, expected realization, and change in priors

  • Work with other departments to increase the accuracy of projected and budgeted net revenue

  • Help calculate actual, budgeted, and projected net patient service revenue using data sources from the general ledger and RCA

  • Report on and reconcile statistical information from multiple sources, including projected daily statistics and month end statistics

  • Work with Expanse and third-party sequel vendor to produce and update statistical and net revenue report

  • Provide backup coverage for other department associates, including but not limited to cash management duties.

    Education, Training & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum of two (2) years of cumulative experience OR seven (7) years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Healthcare experience required. Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred.

    Certifications / Licensure:

  • Certified Net Revenue Analyst (CNRA) preferred, training available on hire.
