Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on existing components to identify cost savings opportunity, drive new design for platform cost reduction.

• Engaging in all phases of new product design and introduction, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.

• Lead technical design review for concept solution, detail design and evaluation result with global team.

• Perform mechanical parts’ integration, verification, FMEA, reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability analysis.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

• More than 5 years’ work experiences in the areas of motion/transmission related design.

• Master of CAD tools such as Creo for 3D, 2D and Mechanical transmission simulation is preferred.

• Complete understanding/working knowledge of engineering design documentation and standard document control practices.

• Must be able to work effectively in a global cross-functional team environment.
