Shift 1 (United States of America) Position Summary: We're looking for a qualified Facilities Painter for our Batavia and Mt. Orab sites. The Facilities Painter role is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and protective quality of buildings or facilities by applying paint, varnish, and other finishes. Work You'll Do: Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and filling in holes or cracks. Mixing, matching, and applying paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes. Maintaining equipment and tools used in painting processes. Inspecting and assessing the area to be painted to plan the work ahead. Applying paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Removing old paint from surfaces. Setting up scaffolding or setting up ladders to perform tasks above ground level. Covering surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection. Calculating the quantity of materials needed for each job. Keeping track of paint supplies and ordering more as necessary. Cleaning up supplies and equipment after each job. Following all safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. Team: This role will be a part of the Batavia and Mt. Orab Facility Maintenance teams reporting directly to the Facility Maintenance Manager. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent knowledge 1 plus years of painting experience Ability to work in heights. Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: Attention to detail for quality finishes. Safety knowledge and awareness of hazards. 3 years painting experience in an industrial facility.
