Senior Systems Programmer – Remote

What you’ll do:

As aSenior Systems Programmer,you will be responsible for contributing to and performing tasks within assigned ITS departmental areas in support of Lifepoint’s Operating Systems, Infrastructure, and middleware, and which meet ITS/Business expectations, and Customer Service Level Agreements. You will serve on on projects that require the department’s involvement and provide departmental education/guidance to less experienced team members.

Responsibilities:

• Leads and participates in departmental projects, ensuring clarity, systematic execution, full documentation, and business-oriented results, adhering to Project Management processes and standards.
• Understands and follows client and application virtualization processes and procedures.
• Executes migration strategies to move to future technical architectures.
• Participates in testing new systems and technical infrastructure projects.
• Supports operational procedures and standards, aligning with business objectives and vendor best practices.
• Certifies, installs, configures, and maintains LifePoint Windows server operating systems, infrastructure, and middleware.
• Provides 24/7 on-call support and basic triage for department areas.
• Defines configuration specifications for new systems based on requirements.

What you’ll need:

• Education: Associate’s Degree in information technology or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5 years of experience
• Certifications: VCP or VCA Preferred
