At Tim Eastman Equipment Repair and Welding Inc, keeping our customers going is what drives us. We are a heavy equipment repair business with large shops and field service trucks. Currently, we are looking for a full-time heavy equipment diesel mechanic.

Required Skills

• 5 plus years as a heavy equipment diesel mechanic, with logging experience preferred.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Self-starter - Ability to work and remain motivated without the help of others.
• Good communications skills and ability to problem solve, particularly in the field.
• Time management is crucial. Must be able to organize time and schedule efficiently.
• Detail Oriented.
• Good customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and have a desire for continued growth and learning.

Duties

• Ability to problem solve in order to get the customer up and running as quickly as possible.
• Maintain communications with customers and plan accordingly while traveling.
• Maintain and submit records daily of hours worked, jobs completed, and parts used or purchased.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
