Our client, an international semiconductor product manufacturer is seeking a strong Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the R&D Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong Solidworks, document control and supplier engagement skills which will align successfully in the position. This is a 1 year contract position including full benefits. There may be an opportunity for direct hire at that time.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ - Phoenix Metro

Pay Range: $50-$55/hr plus benefits, OT, sick time

What’s the Job?

• Will be supporting Engineering and QA with product issues

• Will be utilizing strong Solidworks for design and drawing of components and products

• Will be utilizing the PLM system and SAP for document control, BOM management and documentation

• Responsible for supplier management

• Will be working with electro-mechanical system products and mechanical components such as nuts, bolts, closures, valves, tubings, fittings, etc.

What’s Needed?

• BSME or related engineering degree

• 10+ years' experience in full lifecycle mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering; Semiconductor industry a plus

• Strong experience with SolidWorks

• Experience with supplier engagement and management, PLM systems/document control, change management, BoM management etc.; SAP a big plus!

• Experience designing and prototyping for electro-mechanical systems and mechanical components such as fasteners, closures, packaging, valves, tubing, fittings, etc.
