Experienced Steel Fabricator

American Mine Door is a manufacturer established in 1906 based in Cleveland, Ohio. We fabricate specialty products for the global underground mining industry. Currently the company is looking for an experienced steel fabricator for long term employment. Candidates need to have a minimum of 5-7 years of steel fabrication and fitting experience to be considered for this position. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Steady work history
• 5-7 years welding/fabrication/fitting experience.
• Confident in reading fabrication blueprints
• Attention to details
• Should have your own basic fabrication tools.
• Understands the importance of safety and quality; and practiced daily.
• Will be expected to help saw, shear, brake, grind etc. when needed.
• A machining background is a plus.
• Able to fit weldments from complex fabrication drawings and sketches. Comfortable with rigging and overhead cranes

We are looking for fabricator experienced in large, complex fabrications. The company offers above market wage, benefits, and vacation package to the right candidate. Pay based upon prior experience.
