As a Housekeeper you will help keep Camp Knutson's physical plant, grounds, and equipment clean and safe for campers, staff, volunteers, and other guests to use and enjoy. You will be responsible for the following: Cleaning camp buildings as directed, including bathrooms, kitchen areas, etc. Proper usage/storage of cleaning agents Hauling trash/recycling to appropriate removal places Cleaning glass / windows inside and out as directed Vacuuming, scrubbing, sweeping of the buildings inside and out where appropriate Communicate facility issues / supply needs to facility coordinator Assist with laundering of linens as needed Assist with "deep cleaning" of buildings when requested Attend facility / staff meetings when requested Must be a good role model for our campers in your attitude and behavior, by following and upholding all safety and security rules, policies, procedures and protocols Communicate and cooperate with all staff and volunteers Minimum Requirements: Ability to relate to youth and adults in a positive manner Demonstrate knowledge and skill in assigned job duties under training, guidance, supervision of Maintenance Director Driver's License is Preferred Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
