We are looking for a driven and client-focused Site Civil Engineer in Dallas, TX to support our site development design projects. As a key member of our Civil Site team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects ranging from small site design to large campus building projects or facility infrastructure upgrades. You’ll get to work on site civil layout, grading and drainage (hydrology and hydraulics) design, geometric design of driveways and parking areas, utility design, erosion control, and design review. You’ll work closely with our talented project teams through all phases of plan production as we carry projects from concept design to bid-ready documents and into construction. This role presents an opportunity for someone who is aiming to grow his or her career in the diverse roles that Jacobs offers.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

  • Proficient professional engineer experience in site layout, grading and drainage, utility, and erosion control design

  • Experience leading and managing civil site projects along with a team of Professional Engineers or Engineers in Training

  • Experience assembling and review construction drawings and specification

  • Project management experience or a desire to take on project management duties

  • Construction support services experience

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in any state and ability to obtain via comity

  • US Citizenship

Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:

  • CAD/C3D design experience

  • Familiar drainage programs such as Hydraflow Hydrographs, Hydraflow

  • Storm Sewers, Culvertmaster, Flowmaster
