Job Description

Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a full stack software engineer to join one of their largest automotive clients out of Dearborn, Michigan. This candidate will be performing full stack development ranging from native mobile, to web, to server-side engineering. They will be leveraging modern frameworks, open source tools, and cloud technologies to develop software effectively through paired programming and other methodologies like test-driven development, continuous integration and deployment.

Day to Day:

* Assist with the development of working, tested code across the full stack of technologies.

* Build distributed, service-oriented, cloud micro service-based architectures.

* Support the development of components across all tiers of the application stack, integrate and deploy developed software, and modify CI/CD pipeline and scripts as vital to improve continuous integration practices.

* Identify minimal viable product and decompose features by story slicing.

* Assist with identifying inter-team dependencies and ensure that team dependencies are met in timely fashion.

* Ensure functional and non-functional quality and on-time delivery using agile and lean principles, embrace extreme programming practices including paired development, test driven development, and continuous delivery to release early and often, and collaborate and work closely together with a balanced team of developers.

Skills and Requirements

* 5+ years of Java experience

* 3+ years of professional development experience with: Spring, Cloud technologies, JPA, SQL, CI/CD

* Experience with TDD (test-driven development) * Experience with GCP

* Experience developing object-oriented software or web applications using Java, J2EE, XML, and Junits

* Delivering software applications in an Agile environment.

* Designing and developing DevOps CI/CD. null
