Description:

Repair and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and utilize knowledge

and experience in maintaining all non-ammonia HVAC equipment including roof top split

systems, packaged systems, indoor units and associated equipment. Position will be

responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, cleaning and inspecting all equipment

listed above.

What type of experience best aligns with the role - Have to come from manufacturing or outside okay?:

-split units, industrial air conditioners, heaters, commercial buildings, split units would be closest to residentials open to candidates from either industry

What are they doing on a daily basis: servicing their air conditioning and heaters, PMing AC units, troubleshooting and supporting wherever is need. Will have a daily job description of what they will need to do on a daily basis.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• EPA Universal Certification required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Technical Training certificate from vocational or public college in Heating Ventilation

and Air Conditioning required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

With little or no supervision:

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections, clean, lubricated, replace filters on all

CFC/HCFC HVAC equipment

• Clean roof top condenser coils, collect amp draw readings on compressors and

condenser fans.

• Troubleshoot Building Management Systems.

• Documents all work done on work orders per established procedures.

• Will document and inform Lead, Supervisor or Manager of potential problems related

to daily and weekly activities.

• Maintain a safe environment by following regulations and plant safety requirements.

With supervision:

• Will develop, schedule and perform Preventative Maintenance schedules for Facilities’

HVAC systems.

• Maintain all necessary paperwork associated with the PSM program.
