Job Description

AECOM Netherlands is looking for a health, safety, environmental and quality (QSH&E) coordinator.

You will be a member of the (Q)SH&E team in Benelux & France, within the construction management department and will be responsible for some of the following tasks:

• Advising relevant stakeholders on client/AECOM/regulatory standards

• Maintain knowledge of specific government agency requirements

• Pro-actively improve SH&E on active construction sites

• Support the Q&A and SH&E manager in assuring that client and AECOM specific management systems are applied

• Support the implementation of a strong (Q)SH&E culture

• Independently determines and develops approaches to (Q)SH&E solutions

• Investigates accidents, injuries, and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace.

• Implementing safety, quality and customer focus in your day-to-day activities

• Recommends and implements improvements in processes, design, procedures and operating equipment to minimize hazards in SH&E and Quality.

• Coach and develop colleagues and contractors in SH&E and Quality

• Apply both quality assurance and control to all projects/programs

• Monitoring of SH&E and Quality data on monthly basis

Maintaining a zero accidents, incidents and spills mentality

Qualifications

• Organizational effectiveness;

• Excellent communication and presentation skills;

• Strong knowledge of local Dutch legislation;

• Sufficient understanding of management systems (ISO45001, ISO9001, etc.);

• Strong level of auditing skills

• Self-starting and team player;

• Enjoy working on projects and pragmatic in various Quality and SH&E-related topics

• Exemplary behaviour with regards to safety and quality;

• Strong customer focus.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in SH&E and Quality management, engineering or similar technical fields of study;

• You have an MVK, MoSHE or equivalent certification/training

• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and verbal);

• 5 years’ experience in a construction, industrial or consulting company;

• Valid driving license.
