The Painter will use various painting techniques that will include wet paint spraying, and other techniques on various materials. Material preparation such as sand blasting, cleaning, dipping, masking, and others will be used in addition to the following duties (others may be assigned):

• Prepare all parts for painting.
• Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures.
• Operate all equipment including guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems.
• Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects.
• Determine paint flow, viscosity and coating quality by performing visual inspections or by using viscometers.
• Knowledge of thermosetting resin coatings, wash and pretreatments.
• Ensure that all parts are produced efficiently and that they are consistent with company-established goals for quality.
• Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring safety guidelines are being met.
• Good knowledge of the mechanics and repair of painting equipment as well as knowledge of proper cleaning and maintenance techniques.
• Frequent forklift operation is required.

Qualifications:
