Thomson Reuters Holdings Inc. Senior Associate, Westlaw SWAT Team in Eagan, Minnesota

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Westlaw and the value it provides to legal professionals. This multi-functional position is focused on the best articulation of the Westlaw value proposition, including a focus on generative AI, and conveying this across segments to help drive the adoption of Westlaw and specifically Westlaw Precision. The candidate will be responsible, in part, for performing extensive legal research leading to customized examples displaying Westlaw's unique value to specific customers. About the Role: In this opportunity as Senior Associate, Westlaw SWAT Team you will: Research and develop the Westlaw value story Position Westlaw value propositions to all segments, demonstrating high level of knowledge and experience Present compelling, persuasive, engaging presentations Create (in PowerPoint) and be able to deliver compelling presentations to support the Westlaw premium Conduct sophisticated legal research in various topics and make that research relevant to specific practice areas and to specific customers Assess, analyze and interpret legal content with minimal guidance Assess, analyze and interpret customer usage data and apply this to relevant value propositions with minimal guidance Continue to develop knowledge and understanding of the benefits of generative AI Collaborate with team members as well as internal stakeholders to understand all aspects of Westlaw fully and the value that is derived by different types of customers Provide coaching and work on development of resources for the field to enhance their understanding and delivery of the Westlaw value story. About You: You're a fit for the role ofSenior Associate, Westlaw SWAT Team if your background includes: JD degree required Admission to a state bar strongly preferred 5+ years of legal experience Mastery of legal research skills with experience using Westlaw and/or other online legal research tools Ability to work across all subsegments Strong presentation skills Demonstrated ability to understand the market for Westlaw Strong ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and express complex legal material quickly and accurately Demonstrated ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a very quickly changing environment Strong experience in working very effectively in a team environment Ability to work independently, consistently meet deadlines, and achieve individual objectives within larger team projects Strong oral and written communication skills Strong computer skills including applications such as the Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint What's in it For You?
