Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Nylon Technician to join one of our largest testing and simulation clients. This individual will be responsible for preparing and applying nylon coatings to various machine parts. Daily tasks consist of applying high pressure adhesives and tapes, chemical treatments, heating parts up and melting powder nylon coatings on them, abrading with power tools, and helping to develop new processes on the shop floor alongside teams of engineers. A qualified candidate will have a great attitude, willingness to learn, and have a high mechanical aptitude.

*Please note this is an onsite role in Eden Prairie, MN. Flexible work schedule for 4 ten hour shifts Monday-Thursday.

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years of machine shop floor experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to be hands-on

• Ability to lift and carry 30-40 lbs

• Previous experience working with hand and power tools

• High school diploma

• Must work onsite in Eden Prairie, MN - Previous powder coating, nylon coating, or painting experience

• Previous abrading experience null
