Genesis10 is seeking a Patient Financial Services Director for a contract with our client in Eden Prairie, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: Our healthcare provider client is seeking an experienced Patient Financial Services Director to join their team on a contract basis. This is a remote position with less than 25% travel to Boston, MA. You will play a key role in augmenting the client's current Patient Financial Services team as they prepare for and transition to a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system go-live later this year. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in hospital billing and patient financial services operations. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Patient Financial Services team during the EMR transition Optimize billing processes and workflows for maximum efficiency and compliance Analyze financial performance metrics and identify areas for improvement Ensure proper training and readiness of the team for the new EMR go-live Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Revenue Cycle, and clinical departments Required Basic Qualifications: Extensive experience in hospital Patient Financial Services operations and billing Proven track record of successfully leading and managing PFS teams In-depth knowledge of the client's current Meditech Expanse EMR system Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the Epic EMR system (the client is converting to Epic) EMR implementation/go-live experience is a plus Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $ We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
