Planemasters, LTD. 360 S MAIN St. Elmira, NY, 14904 seeks FT/PERM 1900 Pilot to Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections of fuel, equipment, and navigational systems, monitor gauges, warning devices, and control panels to verify aircraft performance and to regulate engine speed. Inspect aircraft for defects and malfunctions, according to pre-flight checklists. Start engines, operate controls, and pilot airplanes to transport mail and freight, adhering to flight plans, regulations, and procedures determining the safest routes and analyzing flight plans prior to takeoff. Keep up to date with aircraft advancements and equipment. Coordinate flight activities with ground crews and air traffic control and inform crew members of flight and test procedures. Record in logbooks information, such as flight times, distances flown, and fuel consumption. Direct activities of aircraft crews during flights. Freq. travel inherent to position to Erie and Tompkins County area.
