REQUIREMENTS: * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. * Two (2) years of gaming regulatory experience, preferred. * Two (2) years of investigative or law enforcement experience. * Two (2) years of report writing experience. * Five (5) years of office experience. * Must obtain and maintain CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Systems) and LEDS (Law Enforcement Data Systems) clearance and certification. * Experience consistent with strong computer skills such as: proficiency in using Microsoft Office based database, word processing and spread sheet programs required. * Experience showing background working with confidential & sensitive information. Must sign a Confidentiality Agreement, sign and adhere to a Code of Ethics. * This position is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing and criminal history background checks which includes fingerprinting. * Must obtain and maintain a high security gaming license from the Gaming Commission * Must have employment eligibility in the U.S. * Indian preference will be observed in the hiring process. JOB DUTIES: * Work with confidential and sensitive information. Must maintain confidentiality over all Tribal Gaming Commission, Surveillance Department, Tribal Police, Casino, and Tribal matters. * Assist the Licensing Supervisor with coordination, scheduling and notification of Commission meetings and hearings. * Act as background investigator for all vendors and vendor technicians. * Compile and organize complete investigative files of applicants and licensees. * Conduct detailed and on-going casino employee investigations and writes reports regulatory bodies. * Obtain and interpret criminal and personal history information from the Oregon State Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS), city, county and state law enforcement agencies, and state and local courts. * Obtain and interpret fingerprints reports and credit information from intelligence sources. * Review and track conditional licenses and background issues related to current licensees. * Assist with reviewing licensing applications, disclosure statements, financial documents and other records submitted by applicants. * Ensure all required State and Federal notifications are made within the allotted time period. * Investigate Class II & III vendor technicians, tracks expirations, maintains communication with vendor representatives writes reports and sends updates. * Schedule the renewal of all licensees, issues the necessary forms and tracks the return of such forms. * Print, track, and coordinate issuance and retrieval of gaming licenses. * Write, utilize, and modify Licensing templates, reports and applications to meet the needs specific to each individual licensee. * Operate, maintain, and update the Licensing software and databases for TRCR personnel, vendor companies and their assigned gaming technicians. * Develop, write, and export database reports and queries. * Scan and maintain records for archive per the records retention policy. * Take digital and manual fingerprints. * Any other duties as directed by the Licensing Supervisor.
