Job Summary/Objective:

Nemean Solutions is seeking a skilled Mechanic specializing in Small Engine Repair to join our team for the Cyber Center of Excellence Maintenance contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines used in various equipment and machinery essential for the operations of the Cyber Center of Excellence. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing small engines efficiently to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The Mechanic will play a vital role in supporting the maintenance operations, contributing to the smooth functioning of equipment vital to the Cyber Center's mission-critical tasks.

Supervisor Responsibilities: No

Duties Responsibilities:

• Receive technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician, ensuring compliance with accepted practices and work assignments.

• Track time, labor codes, and repair parts used on work requests accurately.

• Maintain accountability for assigned tools and test equipment.

• Record daily time sheets and input data into computer systems.

• Uphold good housekeeping practices in the assigned work area, adhering to safety, security, and fire prevention regulations.

• Coordinate with and provide updates to foreman/manager regarding maintenance status, progress, equipment requirements, logistics delays, and corrective actions.

• Adhere strictly to all safe work practices and procedures.

• Fulfill any additional duties as required.

  Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

• Proven experience (typically 2-3 years) in small engine repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various small engines, including but not limited to lawn mowers, generators, chainsaws, and leaf blowers.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of engine components and systems.

• Familiarity with small engine repair tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments.

• Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle manual tasks and operate machinery safely.

• Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record may be required.

• Willingness to pursue ongoing training and certification in small engine repair technologies.

  Security Clearance: DoD SECRET Level Clearance Required for Specific Positions

  Able to pass a background investigation to obtain a Department of Defense Common Access Card.
