About the Position: Serves as a Materials Examiner & Identifier (MVO/FLO) for the U.S. Army LOG Readiness CTR, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. This is a Term appointment not to exceed 13 months. Responsibilities Perform work utilizing the automated database, Central Issue Facility System-Army (CIF-Army), to process issues, turn-ins, direct exchanges and temporary loans to individuals. Responsible for all safety, environmental and security requirements. Assist in the operation and maintenance within the general warehousing plan and customer satisfaction. Conduct inventory and signs shipping documents and forwards to the appropriate supply clerk with discrepancies noted. Assemble items for turn-in to warehouse for stock, to shops for repair, to laundry for cleaning, turn-in to property disposal or shipping to other locations. This position is a TERM position not to exceed 13 months. It is a time limited position and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years. This position may be converted to a permanent career or career-conditional appointment without further competition as long as all requirements are met. To be eligible for conversion, employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous service under a term appointment in the competitive service AND employee must have a current performance rating under such term appointment of at least fully successful or equivalent. This position will be filled as a time-limited appointment. Army employees who accept time limited appointments (to include employees with personal competitive status) will be separated at the end of the time-limited appointment date if the Not-to-Exceed (NTE) date is not extended.
