RQ Construction, LLC Assistant Electrical Superintendent in Aguadilla Pueblo,

55000-60000 per year | Aguadilla Pueblo, PRI | Salary | Full Time

Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects spanning coast to coast. We are a full-service Design-Build company. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus on the Department of Defense (DoD) market.

We are looking for an Assistant Electrical Superintendent candidate to join our Field Operations team at Borinquen, Aquadilla, Puerto Rico. Our Assistant Electrical Superintendent is responsible for assisting with the daily supervision, planning of materials, manpower needs in advance. Also includes direction, direction, and coordination of assigned construction work activities, employees, and subcontractors on a project job site to safely produce quality work, within project requirements (i.e., RFP, plans, specifications, and proposal documents) targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Educational and Experiences:

  • A high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required for this position.

  • College courses in construction management, electrical engineering, etc. preferred.

  • Three or more years of work experience in a lead Foreman position (e.g., scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production of all phases in construction) on medium or large projects is required.

  • Three or more years (or equivalent) of field or trade work experience is in the construction industry highly desirable; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Work in the design-build industry is preferred.

  • Previous electrical supervisory experience and capable of following instructions.

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Bluebeam, Internet, etc.) is preferred. Training can be provided.

  • Specific software literacy (Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit, McCormick) is preferred. Training can be provided.

  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications, EM-385, and STS required; Training can be provided.

  • Both English and Spanish-speaking skills.
