The Headlines:

In the role of Plant Maintenance Mechanic working in Golden, CO, you will be part of the Maintenance Team in Production Operations. Our maintenance team is the lifeblood that keeps our brewery going. This role will be responsible for playing an important role in ensuring that our production facility is running smoothly so we can make as much of our great beer as possible.

This position reports to the Maintenance Lead.

The Responsibilities:

  • Assist in training new employees and trainees

  • Perform work in a safe manner demonstrating proper use of safety equipment at all times

  • Perform set-up, adjustment, timing, troubleshooting, replacement of mechanical equipment

  • Dismantle, inspect, and rebuild mechanical assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications or production requirements

  • Perform tasks in accordance with NFPA70E, OSHA, EPA, FDA, Lock out/Tag out, safety rules, codes, policies and regulations and confined entry policy

  • Follow waste disposal and accumulation requirements as set our by the HAZMAT policy

  • Contribute to customer satisfaction

  • Work as a self-motivated individual with minimal supervision

  • Work to design out maintenance where applicable as week as driving towards improving equipment reliability through proper maintenance procedures

  • Work to reduce unplanned downtime by working with the Asset CARE Planners to make necessary improvements in equipment

  • Use data and specific procedures to determine root-cause failure and strive to correct the problem versus the symptom

  • Document all work in CMMS-SAP on a timely basis

The Other Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Industrial Journeyman level and/or on-the-job experience in heavy industrial / manufacturing field

  • Able to work in a team environment and flow to work within Packaging

  • Must be proficient and safe in the use of a variety of mechanic power and hand tools

  • Able to read and understand manual and drawings
