General Function:

We have an opening in the Information Technology Department for an IT Manager, Connected Worker Technology. This is a hybrid role based out of the Technology & Innovation Center in Grimes, IA.

Reporting Relations:

Accountable and Reports to: GVP, Supply Chain and Network Infrastructure

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in delivering business solutions on Microsoft 365 including MS Teams, SharePoint, and legacy Microsoft products and a variety of company collaboration, productivity, and file management products.

  • Lead the team to maximize and maintain the performance and uptime of those services.

  • Promotes optimal useability and adoption of Microsoft 365 services across the enterprise.

  • Evaluates and monitors Microsoft’s roadmap for upgrades to Microsoft 365 platform.

  • Manages and maintains Microsoft licensing agreements.

  • Ensure timely response and resolution to problem tickets and maintain a high service standard.

  • Serve as incident manager and escalation resource during outages and major incidents.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities in compliance with department change management policy.

  • Works with retail, distribution center, subsidiary, and corporate personnel to design solutions that align with strategic goals and interact with existing systems and technologies.

  • Works with outside consultants and vendors to evaluate solutions.

  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to team members.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:

Required

  • 5+ years of experience as a technology professional in the Microsoft/Office 365 ecosystem.

  • 5+ years as a manager or leader in some capacity.

  • Experience as a solutions architect or equivalent around Microsoft’s modern workplace toolset.

  • Ability to explain key end-user solutions and technical architecture aligned to the firm’s maturity framework/path in Office 365.

  • Can scope out projects correctly and offer accurate assessments regarding timeline and cost.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to physically perform sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions

The duties for this position are normally conducted in an office environment. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
