Intel SW simulation tools Student worker in Guadalajara, Mexico

Job Description

In this position you will be contributing to Intel efforts to give to its customers simulation tools that help them develop software for the next processor generation before the first processor hardware exists.

In this role the student will work in a multicultural external customer facing organization that supports customers with Simulation models for software development for the Data Center Platform segment.

Your responsibilities will be but not limited to :

  • Preparing and publishing software tool updates for external consumption.

  • Creating the best training material that help Intel to educate external customers on specific simulation use cases or features.

  • Debug to root cause simulation tool issues submitted by Intel customers.

Behavioral traits will include:

  • Advanced teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications,

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:

  • Currently pursuing an Electrical Engineering, Computer Science bachelors or related STEM field (at least 1 year remaining as an active student).

  • Intermediate to advanced English level.

  • 6+ months of experience in developing presentations - using Presentation Applications (e.g. PowerPoint), PC architecture, Python (developing/coding).

Preferred qualifications,

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:

  • GIT usage.

  • Comfortable using Linux terminal commands and Linux interface.

  • Knowledge of UEFI Firmware architecture.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
