This position is for Commercial Estimator 

Overview: The Commercial Estimator is a full-time, salaried position responsible for all commercial takeoffs and managing a team of Multi-Family Estimators at the hub. The Commercial Estimator works closely with the Multi-Family and Project Execution teams

Responsibilities :  Review and analyze blueprints and specifications relative to the schedule and scope of work. Coordinate and manage construction projects and associated paperwork. Utilize PlanSwift estimating software to generate takeoffs and estimates.

Communicate directly with the customer in a timely, professional manner.

Qualifications : Extensive PlanSwift (primary estimating software) knowledge and experience. Ability to perform framing material takeoffs using PlanSwift on large scale, wood framed multi-family buildings. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with high expertise in Excel. 1-3 years of estimating experience is preferred. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or at least 2 years of specific experience and/or training related to the essential functions of the job; or equivalent combination of education and training.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position is in a busy office environment and is faced with constant interruptions on a regular basis. There is low to moderate exposure to common office sounds such as ringing phones, talking, printers, copy machines and fax machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position involves frequent sitting, use of hands and reaching with hands and arms. Rarely this position stands. This position has a uniform policy that requires that all associates are clean shaven daily.
