Description:

Candidate will work in the production department. Will be asked to take order sheets, retrieve product type and quantities listed on work order sheet and then retrieve them and bring them to a larger-than-usual conveyor belt. One side is to load packages, the other side is to unload packages. Packages will be received and sent in from their clients (mainly medical products/devices) and depending on what side they are on, will be loading and unloading packages into totes in order to go through a sterilization machine.

Loading side - will unwrap pallet of product and place the product onto a conveyor belt. They will then type in the order selected into a nearby computer and an image will pop up and display how the product should be placed inside totes. Once the tote is filled, it will sent to be sterilized.

Unloading Side - The conveyor belt will bring back product once sterilized to the other side of the line. They will then unload the tote, palatalize the product the same way it was received using yellow shrink wrap. This is so they know which pallets have been sterilized.

Depending on the position assigned to the candidate for the day, they may have to be on the forklift for up to 5 percent of the day. Many days they will never touch a forklift.
