Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • Be the champion of the assigned portfolio with in-depth product & procedural knowledge.

  • Develop brand positioning strategy, customer segmentation framework and roll out campaigns for product promotion.

  • Drive customer profiling exercise partnering with sales team and create acquisition/ retention strategies.

  • Develop, sustain and leverage relationships with key opinion leaders of assigned specialty.

  • Define the golden words to communicate unique selling points and competitive advantages.

  • Work closely with sales and key accounts for product demonstration and clinical selling

  • Design creative marketing and promotional campaigns, creation of product brochures, leaflets, and other communication material as per brand guidelines

  • Design and implement a pricing strategy for designated products to meet ASP targets & portfolio profitability.

  • Conduct margin analysis on a periodic basis to study trends to access pricing levels.

  • Active partner for success of field staff, help shorten the sales conversion cycle and create platforms to share success stories and best practices amongst team members.

  • Planning marketing programs & customer engagement activities and working closely with support teams & vendors for successful execution.

  • Drive CAPEX planning and execution of demo set deployment and achieve productivity targets

  • Control marketing budget for the respective product/ portfolio by managing the needs assessment plan vs actual and maximize the utilization of the budget

  • Partner with SCM for rolling forecast and inventory level of new and priority products.

  • Develop and implement feedback channels to ensure franchises are following marketing plans.

  • Support lead management initiatives for field staff, periodically compare leads and market mapping to identify untapped potential

  • Work with sales managers on sales roadmap validation and analysis

  • Deliver product training to sales team, content development and structuring of digital content repository for online references

  • Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development

Qualifications & experience:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Science/Pharmacy

  • Post Graduate Degree in Management, with a specialization in Marketing from top B Schools IIM/IIFT/FMS/ISB

  • Experience in handling marketing for high value capital equipment in medical device

Experience:

  • A total experience of 9+ years in marketing role of a large MedTech Organization with exposure to working with cross functional teams.

  • Exceptional track record in marketing strategy, branding initiatives and product launches

  • This role requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • The role requires expertise within a discipline in a specialized field. The job provides technical guidance and direction for his/ her area of specialization. Also good analytical skills as well as evaluative judgement based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations. The complexity implied at this level of problem solving relates to the ability to filter, prioritize, analyze and validate potentially complex and dynamic material
