Description We are in search of a meticulous and proficient Accounting Clerk to be part of our team located in Highland Park, Illinois. The role will primarily involve managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate credit records, and addressing credit-related queries. This role is also pivotal in overseeing customer credit accounts and implementing necessary actions for overdue payments.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately processing customer credit applications

• Maintaining precise records of customer credit

• Resolving customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and identifying delinquent payments

• Implementing appropriate actions to collect overdue payments

• Conducting account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Handling billing and invoice processing tasks

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for data entry and other related tasks. Requirements

• Possession of a minimum of one year of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation.

• Prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Familiarity with Billing processes.

• Strong Data Entry skills required.

• Proven experience in Invoice Processing.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.

• Experience with QuickBooks for accounting functions.
