Job Title: 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Seeking a diligent and skilled 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team, focusing on maintaining production equipment during the night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing a variety of machinery including conveyor systems, hydraulics and pneumatic systems, and mold blowing machines. The role requires proficiency in using mechanical tools such as wrenches, drills, and screwdrivers, with candidates expected to have their own toolbox. Some tasks will involve PLC troubleshooting and changing of fuses. The position demands a strong commitment as the work schedule includes 6 days a week, from 11pm to 7am, with extended hours on Saturdays.

Work Environment

The work environment is very noisy and not all areas are climate controlled. The facility requires all employees to wear PPE, which is provided, including goggles, gloves, earpieces, and hair nets. The facility operates 6 days a week, closed only on Sundays. Employees must wear closed-toe and back, comfortable shoes, with steel toe shoes necessary due to the extensive walking/standing involved in the role.
