The Design and Estimation Manager is responsible for overall solution design and estimation for all Technology Infrastructure project opportunities across the Data Centre Solutions APAC business ensuring that the latest and current industry standards are adhered to.

· Prepare design solutions, estimates and tender proposals for Technology Infrastructure & Whitespace projects across multiple Business Units throughout APAC

· Collaborate with our clients and key internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are fully understood and a scalable, cost effective solution is proposed

· Ensure all designs adheres to industry, regulatory and regional standards

· Support and manage all Technology Infrastructure relationships both internally & externally

· Act as a trusted advisor and project leader to grow business relationships and CBRE’s Technology offering within Data Centre Solutions

· Develop and maintain relationships with industry leading manufacturers and distributors ensuring the Technology Infrastructure team is at the forefront of emerging technologies and industry trends

· Promote alignment between the client’s organisation and other departments within DCS to maximize value creation and ensure excellence in project delivery

· Provide direction and oversight as an SME to enable business unit and account teams to positively contribute and comprehensively manage the fulfilment of our commitment to the client

· Strategic interpreter of needs and identifier of new value-added services

· Provide leadership in identifying and specifying project opportunities and in delivering contractual commitments on secured projects

· Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of projects are exploited to deliver increased turnover and profitability.

· Working with other Operational managers to ensure the collaborative development of the projects business with effective team working and support of colleagues

· Delivering effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate.

· Supporting the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings
