KBR Consulting provides specialized consulting engineering services across the energy industry, including the offshore oil and gas industry. We are a client focused organization that prides itself on developing innovative and practical solutions for our clients, utilizing the broad experience and technical capability of the entire KBR organization.

KBR Consulting is seeking a Sr. SURF (Subsea, Umbilical, Risers and Flowlines) Manager for the Americas region. This person will manage and develop our capabilities to deliver subsea and pipeline engineering in support subsea field development planning, greenfield projects, brownfield projects and integrity management.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Develop, communicate and implement the company’s direction and strategic goals in the SURF arena.

• Provide leadership and direction for business development. Lead the pursuit of viable opportunities.

• Assess and identify resource needs and assist in recruiting high potential candidates.

• Identify and communicate best practices and lessons learned.

• Lead and or monitor SURF projects and liaise with customers to endure optimal results.

• Collaborate with our existing subsea and pipelines groups in other offices to build an efficient Wordwise organization.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

• 15+ years of SURF engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.

Preferred Education & Skills:

• Track record and knowledge of the US and Latin American clients and markets.

• Ability to lead marketing efforts through strong client relationships and to engage directly with clients to win work.

• String organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
