Commonwealth Metal Company is looking for an experienced Cost Estimator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze documents, blueprints and shop drawings to gain a thorough understanding of the project
• Qualify potential customer projects through the use of probing questions
• Determine what factors will influence the cost of service or product
• Prepare material and labor cost estimates for the product or service
• Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors
• Negotiate and obtain the best prices and quotes from suppliers
• Manage bids from vendors and contractors
• Use bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis
• Present prepared estimates to management team
• Compile and record actual costs

Skills:

• Proficient Computer Skills
• Basic Knowledge of BuildingConnected and Plan Hub a Plus
• General knowledge of welding and raw material suppliers preferred
• Detail Oriented 
• 5+ years of Estimator experience required
• Background in manufacturing/construction preferred

• Shift M-F from 8:30-5pm (Hours flexible)
• Position is predominately Full Time
