We are seeking highly skilled individuals with TIG welding experience specifically working with stainless steel,such as 304 SS and 316 SS. Responsibilities

  Demonstrate expertise in TIG welding stainless steel and stainless steel pipes,ensuring top-notch quality in every weld,particularly in 304 SS and 316 SS applications.  

  Maintain and utilize welding tools and equipment effectively,including pliers,tape measure,squares (24" and 12"),scraper,hammer,and needle gun as available. 

  Adhere to safety protocols,prioritize the quality of welds,and contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. 

  Assemble and weld structures according to diagrams/blueprints.

  Use micrometers,calipers,and other precision measuring tools to ensure that in-process or the finished product matches specified tolerances.

  Test and evaluate the product to assure the quality of welds.

  Follow specifications,inspect the product,and examine work for defects.

  Maintain an organized workstation and be efficient with materials.

  Assist in other areas as needed.

Qualifications

  Successfully complete a welding test,involving the fabrication of a T-shaped piece using Dual Shield welding techniques. Please bring your welding hood,gloves,and a scraper/chipper for the test if you own one. 

  Proficiency in TIG welding stainless steel,with a focus on precision and quality,especially in 304 SS and 316 SS applications.

  Prior welding experience within a machine shop,fabrication environment,and/or other related fields.

  Familiarity with and ability to utilize various shop tools and equipment particular to the welding industry.

  Great hand-eye coordination.

  Strong written and verbal communication skills along with basic math skills.

  Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and following safety guidelines and procedures.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Swing Shift | 4:00pm - 12:30am
