Required Academic & Technical Skills:

• Bachelors in GIS or related field, or equivalent experience, with a thorough technical knowledge of GIS, Spatial Data, Development & Database concepts.

• 5-6 years working experience in a GIS Developer role, with ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro Desktop, ArcPy, Python.

• Experience in ArcGIS Web Development with working knowledge on ArcGIS JavaScript API, ArcGIS Rest API and JavaScript Development.

• Good working Knowledge of AWS cloud computing and deploying resources to the cloud.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and Terraform.

• Experience optimizing ETL processes with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility and reliability.

• Strong SQL skills required in Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.

• Experience in CI/CD.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience using FME ETL software. Desktop and Server.

• AWS Cloud Certification.

• Experience and understanding of Energy spatial data (Oil and Gas).

Duties & Responsibilities

General Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize GIS focused applications for our internal users.

• Create, interpret and maintain written business requirements and technical specification documents.

• Work in the Agile 3.0 Framework and Scrum Development Model.

• Perform quality coding to business and technical specifications.

• Develop GIS based POCs to showcase ideas, prepare for demos to presenting to the business user.

• Monitoring and maintenance of all components that make up the GIS Spatial Data infrastructure.
