Report on time prepared to work at the designated start time. | | 2. Wear/use Personal Protective Equipment as required. | | 3. Safely operate and maintain equipment for grinding, cutting, | | torching, welding, moving. | | 4. Carry out Quality Control (QC) functions per supervisors | | instruction. | | 5. Clean and maintain production tools and equipment; calibrate as | | may be necessary. | | 6. Organize work area and materials to complete task orders safely | | and accurately. | | 7. Assist to load and off-load material. Keep production spaces safe | | and clean. | | 8. Complete special projects as assigned. Complete daily data / cost | | sheet accurately. | | | | | | | | | | Periodic Functions: Contribute to problem-solving. Occasional | | Overtime. | | | | | | Qualifications: Certificate for welding from a recognized instructor. | | Two (2) years or more experience in a position requiring welding 70% | | content in the position. Ability to perform basic math computation, | | to read various measuring and marking devices (e.g., carpenters | | rule), to use a calculator. Operate Diesel and/or gas fork truck, | | various lifts, various tools. | | | | | | Prospects for Advancement: Welder must maintain certifications. | | Welder may seek training for Crew Leader or Fabricator position. | | Welder position does not typically lead to a supervisor or manager | | role in the Company. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
