About the Job - Supply Chain Intern Dawn's Inspire Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of the Global Bakery Industry. With over 100 years of expertise, Dawn provides a platform for interns to experience our vibrant company culture, embrace our core values, and gain valuable knowledge for their future careers.

Our Supply Chain is embarking on an exciting transformation journey that will require establishing new ways of working to break down silos and provide elevated service to our business partners and customers. As an intern for Supply Chain, you will get to see how our business operates end to end, starting with planning all the way through delivery, and contribute to our success by designing new ways of working that create efficient collaboration. This is a full-time hybrid internship, with expectations of 2-3 days on site while the remaining time is spent working remotely from home. Relocation Assistance Provided.

What Does It Take to be an Intern at Dawn Foods? Below are the minimum qualifications for the Dawn Inspire Internship Program. Junior level or above, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related area of study. Current academic status must reflect good performance in relation to institutional academic standards. Strong interest in Supply Chain. Basic knowledge of Supply Chain and Operations concepts, principles, and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

What Will Set You Apart? Curiosity to learn, ask questions, challenge the status quo, and propose solutions. General knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.) Exposure to SAP a plus

What You'll Do as an Intern Conduct research on current workflows within Supply Chain and present findings of best practices and pain points to the team. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to improving our ways of working. Recommend process improvements to alleviate pain points that will provide consistent superior service to our customers and business partners. Shadow and learn from experienced professionals in your field of interest. Actively seek opportunities to learn and develop new skills relevant to your career goals. Demonstrate the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and support our culture throughout the duration of the Internship Program. Identified projects that you will be responsible for: Standardize Processes at our Distribution Centers Special Order Process Improvements
