Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Manages Preventative Maintenance program. Trouble shooting and repairs of breakdowns as needed.

  • Identify and acquire repair/spare parts through appropriate means with management approval.

  • Performs all required Process Control adjustments and maintain all associated documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Lead/ coach/train all team members

  • Perform all duties associated with advanced quality surveillance, safety/GMP adherence, and operation of the line.

  • Coordination / liaisons between Filling & Assembly and Bulk Manufacturing

  • Coordinate activities of Pack Tech II’s & Pack Tech V’s within assigned area.

  • Other duties and tasks as required and directed by the supervisor.

Competencies :

  • Operate and perform all maintenance on a variety of machines and equipment.

  • Capable of being fork-lift certified and licensed.

  • Capable of training and coaching others on a variety of machines.

  • Able to communicate effectively with co workers.

  • Maintain and update all applicable records.

  • Capable of establishing and implementing methods/projects to improve line uptimes and bulk yields.

  • Ensure that the line and workstations are clean/free of debris and in compliance with safety/GMP standards.

  • Keeps machines and equipment clean and in excellent operating condition as required by the specifications of each piece of equipment and machinery.

  • Responsible for performing quality assurance procedure to ensure that the products are in accordance with the specifications of each product.

  • Perform related duties as required and directed by the supervisor.

  • Must be able to push, pull and lift a minimum of 35 lbs. continuously, 50 lbs. intermittently, and team over 50 lbs. as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Meet company attendance requirement for any pertinent training classes or on the job

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Ability for work well in a team environment

  • All other qualifications of lower-level Packaging Technician positions

  • Meet company standards and testing for this position.
