Your Responsibilities as a Wastewater Technician: Support Project Manager with day to day oversight and supervision of subcontractors. Supporting the daily operation and maintenance of a water/wastewater facilities, drinking water plant operation, system maintenance and repairs. Travel 80% of the time (local and overnight). What we're looking for: AA or BA degree preferred with 2+ years of experience in general facility mechanics, controls, and operations. Experience in water/wastewater operations a plus but not required. Willingness to travel. Strong teamwork skills coupled with the ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast pace environment. Able to troubleshoot under pressure and find effective solutions. Knowledge of electrical repairs and testing, plumbing and pump repair and operation, water sampling and wastewater sampling. Operator or Plumbing License a plus but not required. A valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation are required. The ability to lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces and work under inclement weather conditions, stable employment history, favorable employment references, and a track record of excellent attendance and punctuality are also required.
