Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer Civil/Structure to join our dynamic team for a large-Scale infrastructure project. The Lead Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all civil and structural engineering aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions within specified timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the civil/structural engineering team, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.

• Lead the design and analysis of civil and structural components, including bridges, tunnels, roads, buildings, and other infrastructure elements, utilizing advanced engineering software and techniques.

• Serve as the primary technical authority on civil and structural engineering matters, offering guidance and solutions to complex challenges throughout all project phases.

• Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of engineering excellence and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards related to civil and structural engineering activities.

• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and consulting firms, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

• Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing technical guidance, professional development opportunities, and performance feedback to foster growth and expertise within the team.

• Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to communicate design concepts, progress updates, and technical recommendations effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field;

• Minimum of 18 years of progressive experience in civil and structural engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery on large-scale infrastructure projects and a minimum 8yrs+ experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).

• Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, Revit).

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Demonstrated experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
