Valiant Government Services, LLC Electronics Technician Maintenance II & III in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington

Secret Regular We are pipelining candidates for a future role. Contingent upon Contract Award Valiant is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance II or III for W-TRS. Potential locations could include: California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea and potential additional CONUS locations. The Electrician repairs, tests, and maintains electrical equipment, machinery, and systems such as generators, alternators, motors, and intercommunication systems, makes inspection rounds of electrical equipment and maintains records and schedules of tasks and inspections. The Electronic Technician may maintain, repair, troubleshoot, modify and install various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment. Essential job duties include but are not limited to: Applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems that typically cannot be solved solely be referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents including determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering. Requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. Works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy. Maintains, repairs, and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment (e.g., radar, radio, telecommunication, sonar, and navigational aids); micro and mainframe computers and terminals; and industrial measuring, controlling equipment, and industrial calibration devices. Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining malfunctions and applies skill in restoring equipment operations. *Based on experience and qualifications applications will be sorted into Electronic Technician Maintenance II or III. Minimum Qualifications: Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. (Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.) Education/Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). 5-10 years of job-related experience Thorough knowledge of technical publications related to electronics maintenance mandatory. Must have knowledge of the scopes and limitations of various categories of electronic maintenance (related maintenance functions) and their applications to the contract unit. Must know theory and principles of operation of engines, accessories and components, theory of electronic controls, and have a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic principles. Must be capable of using and reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables. Must be able to inspect, repair, and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as an Electronics Technician Maintenance II or III in the U.S Army or Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) experience highly desired Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
