Position Summary:
The Program Manager-Coordinator/Director is under the direct supervision of the Project Program Specialist of A-State Childhood Services to coordinate and facilitate the multiple facets of the Programs for the Children and Families in the Delta Preschool Program at a specified site within the given service area. Duties include assisting in maintaining program documentation, reporting and scheduling, monitoring, planning, developing, and evaluating all aspects of the program. The Program Manager-Coordinator/Director is responsible for daily paperwork including, but not limited to, USDA food forms, staff leave, and substitute information. The program manager-Coordinator/Director is expected to perform other duties as assigned by the Project Program Specialist
Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow the A-State hand book guidelines
Responsible for daily paperwork including children's records, USDA, staff leave, meetings
Assist in the recruiting of early childhood professionals and oversees training of those individuals
Assist in completing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Schedules and documents weekly staff meeting
Responsible for the over all implementation of the preschool program, curriculum, and staff as assigned site
Available to travel to sites for support
Assist in assuring ABC rules and regulations as well as Quality Approval Standards and Licensing Regulation are met
Monitors program and its participants throughout program year by on site contacts, emails, personal phone calls and meetings
Maintains an open line of communication between ass A-State and Family Day Home staff
Responsible for classroom support in the following areas:

Work Sampling Online
COPA-R (Child Outcome Planning and Administration)
ECERS-R (Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale)
ITERS-R (Infant and Toddler Environment Rating Scale)
FCCERS-R (Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale)
Ounce
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong leadership abilities
Ability to develop, plan and implement short and long term goals
Ability to supervise staff
Skills in organization, prioritizing and implementation of program components
Knowledge in teaching P-K
Skills in examining and reorganizing program operations and procedures
Availability for travel, occasional weekends and night duties
Proficient in computer and office related skills
Knowledge and experience in ABC rules and regulations, COPA, Work Sampling, ITERS, ECER-R, SACERS-R, FCCERS-R Ounce
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood/Child Development and experience in teaching both preschool and infant toddler, and teaching the adult learner
One to three (1-3) years experience related to administration in early childhood programs
Demonstrate a clear understanding of early childhood education and developmental appropriate practices
