Insight Global Technician II - Integration Engineering - 3175 in Kent, Washington

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a aerospace manufacturing company as a Technician II, where you would be focused on valve hardware, working across multiple engine platform systems. The team culture is fun and energetic, and there is the opportunity to convert to an FTE after the contract is up.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

   o Integrate, test, functionally verify, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatically actuated cryogenic valves, systems and components.

   o Perform intermediate and/or depot level component maintenance, inspection, and repair.

   o Assist engineers in reviewing and developing design concepts, tooling, test hardware and providing feedback for improvements.

   o Follow, review, improve and provide feedback on work instructions for complex mechanical systems and installations.

   o Safely work with chemical and/or high-pressure hazardous systems.

   o Ensure tasks are performed on schedule, safely and in a professional manner.

   o Rapidly adapt to changing roles while working in a challenging high-paced work environment.

   o Show Innovation and accountability in the of improvement of processes and the efficiency of operations and the work area.

   o Maintain inventory of parts and equipment for assembly, test, and maintenance of valve related systems.

Support overtime required for integration tasks or test campaigns.

Skills and Requirements

o 2-5 years' experience in aerospace, aircraft, R&D, automotive technician, marine mechanic or related industrial or defense fields.

   o Strong attention to detail, desire to solve problems, and drive to resolve technical issues.

   o Experience with standard hand tools and precision measuring equipment

   o Experience working with computer systems

   o Ability to lift items up to 40 lbs. and use lifting equipment and machinery for heavier hardware.

   o Must possess a strong work ethic, prove ability to follow direction, and meet expectations.

   o Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.

   o Physically able to climb ladders and stairs.

   o Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with software systems, databases and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion o Experience with cryogenic systems, operation, safety and hardware.

   o Prior experience fabricating, maintaining, testing, operating or inspecting aerospace mechanical components or fluids systems.

   o Experience with CAD systems for review and interpretation of 3-D models.
