Presales System Engineer

As a Presales System Engineer, you will join our sales team. Your mission will be to provide technical knowledge to our customers to find the best solution for them and secure new sales opportunities. You will work closely with different Vendor brands, your colleagues, and assigned Arrow partners.

Within this position, you will be mainly responsible for the management of client accounts. Your role will involve continuous relationship development between the business area, regional teams, and the vendors, to ensure trust and support of business objectives.

This is an office-based position (Lisbon office), with a hybrid work option.

What will you be doing at Arrow ECS?

• Supporting the business teams in the development, construction of offers to the clients and answering different technical questions on your assigned solutions.

• Obtain technical certifications and expand your practical skills for different Vendors.

• Training, webinar, technical presentations, product demos, PoCs.

• Customer visits (virtual and onsite) by Vendor competence with sales colleagues.

• Continuously being trained in the latest technologies.

• Manage Customer support cases by using our ticketing system.

A few things you're an expert at:

• Technical degree or equivalent work experience in IT industry

• Understanding of IT infrastructure, and IT Networks.

• Good communication skills

• Business proficiency in Portuguese and English,

• Customer orientation with a sense of innovation and technology,

• Ability to identify and resolve partners' issues by excelling at prioritization of the workload,

• A change agent, an influencer, inclusive and a trusted partner

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work on your own

• Willingness to travel: some regional and EMEA traveling may be required

• A real and innate passion to learn new technologies, a positive outlook for taking on new and diverse situations and being the best in what you learn!
