As a Building Performance Project Consultant in our Madison office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all. Responsibilities Here\'s why we need you: In this role, you will lead the sustainable design process on projects - including Precis - and provide sustainability expertise to clients and partners. Provide expertise to internal project teams and consistently advocate for building performance excellence on all projects. Qualifications Expertise of our most successful Building Performance Project Consultant: Advanced understanding of major tenets of high-performance design including building systems energy efficiency, renewable and alternative energy strategies, daylighting, embodied carbon, indoor environmental quality, water efficiency, life cycle cost assessment, decarbonization and built environment planning. Proficiency with at least one whole building system simulation tool including: EnergyPlus, Openstudio, Ladybug, IES-VE, TRNSYS, DOE-2 (eQuest), TRACE. Proven understanding and application of simulation tools for the appropriate systems and technologies. Industry certification or professional license applicable to building system design and performance including but not limited to LEED AP, ASHRAE HPDP, ASHRAE BEMP, ASHRAE BEAP, Green Globes Professional, or AEE CEM. Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering (or another engineering discipline) from an accredited program; or commensurate degree and experience with building systems.
