Job Summary

Under direct supervision, responsible for performing basic daily laboratory and clean room tasks as they relate to the operations performed within the Manufacturing department, including mammalian cell banking and vaccine preparation activities, data analysis and writing client batch records and SOPs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform cell banking and vaccine preparation activities in the laboratory and within ISO 6 clean room environments while gowned appropriately.

• Work within an ISO 5 biological safety cabinet and maintain sterile aseptic environment.

• Coordinate daily manufacturing tasks with Environmental Monitoring and QA personnel.

• Write and revise client batch records and SOPs.

• Analyze data and report results.

• Prepare all materials and reagents.

• Maintain equipment and clean rooms.

• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements.

• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Biology or related discipline.

• Experience: 1 to 2 years related experience in biological lab.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

• Certification/Licensure: N/A

• Other: Ability to write SOPs and other documentation; proficiency in MS Word; ability to perform tasks independently.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $26.55 per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
