JOB REQUIREMENTS: Under administrative supervision, this position is responsible for the planning, promotion, development and supervision, of a specialized activity of recreation as a community-wide program. Investigate, recommend, demonstrate and explain techniques and procedures Investigate and recommend materials, equipment, and supplies for use in specific program hired for. Ability to communicate effectively with program participants. Demonstrate the skill ability of the specific program being taught. Care for equipment, supplies, records and facilities. Consult with the administrative staff in planning the program and special events and follow department procedure in carrying out activities. Cooperates with other department personnel in planning, promoting, organizing, and scheduling sessions and special events.
